18 Gauge Needles
18 gauge needles are mostly used to draw medication from vials or single-use medication vials. We do not supply this information for medical practitioners alone. It is also for patients who need to self-administer an injection and caregivers who must use them for others. If you are a home needle user who needs to get an injection or shot, you must have three items handy at all times, in addition to the medication itself.
The first is, of course, the 18 gauge needle. It should have a syringe to draw up the medication from the vial. Before injection, you must clean the rubber top of the medication vial and the targeted area of the skin with alcohol prep wipes. When you rub it on the skin, you should give it a few seconds to dry. After the injection, the needle and syringe must be disposed of in a sharps safety container. Using this tool is much safer, for yourself and others, than just throwing the needle and syringe directly in the trash.
You can find all these items throughout our store, and the 18 gauge needles can be found right on this page. Look over our collection and find the products that are right for you.
