Compressor Nebulizers

Asthma Medications work best when they are Absorbed right into the Lungs. That is Exactly what a Compressor Nebulizer does. A Compressor converts the liquid Asthma medication into a Fine Mist which is then absorbed into the lungs by taking in a few deep breaths. Inhaling medication this way, through a Nebulizer is also called Aerosol Therapy or Asthma Therapy. Nebulizers are also called Breathing Machines or Atomizers for this very reason because it atomizes the medication into a mist that is easily inhaled into the lungs directly.  MedOnTheGo.com carries Compressor Nebulizers for Kids and for Adults, For Home use as well as Portable Units that you can use On the Go. Let's have a look below.

A Compressor Nebulizer just like in the term itself has Two Parts- A Compressor and a Nebulizer. The First Part is the Compressor which is the Motor or you can say the Engine that drives the Unit. All compressors do make a noise just like a car engine or any other Motor does. However, these days we have a Lot many Compressors that run quietly and yet deliver Efficient Performance. The Second and Most Important Part is the Nebulizer, this is the Magical part of the unit that converts the medication into a Fine Mist that is then inhaled directly into the lungs. A Nebulizer is connected to the compressor through the tubing and at the other end of the Nebulizer is an Aerosol Mask or a Mouthpiece that is used to inhale the medication. All Nebulizers have Medication Cups and Tubing with a Mouthpiece or an Aerosol Mask, these are also called Nebulizer Kits.

Nebulizers can be 2 Kinds- Disposable Nebulizers and Reusable Nebulizers. Disposable Nebulizers should be changed every 2 weeks or After 10 Treatments whichever comes first. Reusable Nebulizers last longer and should be replaced every 6 months.

MedOnTheGo.com carries Compressor Nebulizer units for Adults and for Kids. For Kids, there are a Lot More Fun and Colorful choices to choose from. We carry the Penguin Shape Compressors, Choo-Choo Train, Buddy the Dog and a Lot More. Please do have a Look at our Compressor Nebulizer for Kids Page.
